Today, we spotlight our MoU partner: AUC Venture Lab (V-Lab).

We were honored to have H.E. Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority FRA, along with Dr. Ehab Abdel-Rahman, AUC Provost, witness the signing of the MoU.

The MoU was signed by Eng. Ahmed Khalifa, executive director of FRA Sandbox and chief data officer, and Dr.Sherif Kamel , Dean of the AUC Onsi Sawiris School of Business, with the attendance of Dr. Ayman Ismail, AUC Venture Lab Founding Director and Abdul Latif Jameel Endowed Chair of Entrepreneurship at AUC.

The ceremony was also attended by key team members from both sides including:
* Farah AbdelKader, Business Development & Operations, FRA Sandbox
* Hadeel El.Shabba, Outreach and Engagement Manager, AUC Venture Lab
and other representatives from both teams.

🔹 AUC Venture Lab (V-Lab) is Egypt’s first university-based accelerator, based at the American University in Cairo. Since 2013, V-Lab has supported more than 1,000 entrepreneurs in building high-impact, tech-enabled startups, making it a cornerstone of the innovation ecosystem.

Our partnership will enable us to work closely together to:
✔️ Launch hackathons and innovation programs
✔️ Create a more inclusive and agile fintech environment
✔️ Accelerate the development of Egypt’s fintech ecosystem.

It’s our pleasure to have AUC V-Lab as our partner and we look forward to working together to turn ideas into impactful solutions for the non-banking financial sector.

شهد مراسم توقيع مذكرة التفاهم كل من معالي الدكتور محمد فريد، رئيس الهيئة العامة للرقابة المالية، والدكتور إيهاب عبد الرحمن، وكيل الشؤون الأكاديمية للجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة.

وقّع المذكرة كل من المهندس أحمد خليفة، المدير التنفيذي للمختبر التنظيمي وكبير مسؤولي البيانات بالهيئة، والدكتور شريف كامل، عميد كلية أنسي ساويرس لإدارة الأعمال بالجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة.

كما حضر الدكتور أيمن إسماعيل، المدير المؤسس لـ AUC Venture Lab وأستاذ كرسي عبد اللطيف جميل لريادة الأعمال، إلى جانب عدد من أعضاء الفريق من الجانبين

🔹 تُعد AUC Venture Lab أول مسرّعة أعمال جامعية في مصر، وقد دعمت منذ 2013 أكثر من 1000 رائد أعمال في بناء شركات ناشئة تعتمد على التكنولوجيا، مما جعلها ركيزة في منظومة الابتكار المصرية. 🤝
